Last weekend I went to an Au Pair outing to meet all the other Au Pairs that live in my area. There are people from Romania, Colombia, South Africa, Germany, Ukraine, Brazil and Hungary. Literally all over the world! These are the people that will be my friends for the next year and who are going to understand what I'm going through the most. Our next meet up is on the 6th of December where we are having a Christmas party. Im sure I will be seeing lots of these girls (and one boy) over the next year!
Did I mention that we got snow!? We have only had a little so far but I can tell that there is a lot more to come. At the moment I'm loving every time I see the tiny bit of snow that we get, not sure I will feel the same way when I'm sliding all over the road when trying to drive the kids to school.
Glad you met some new friends. Maybe some new places to visit when they are home? You be careful on those roads when it's snowing. xxx
