Home!

Well my year as an Au Pair ended early and suddenly. I ended up flying out of Utah on the 9th of September 2015 and landing in Perth on the 11th of September.

It was great to see all my family again and my Gran hosted a big dinner for everyone to welcome me home. It is a rare occasion when all of my grans children, their partners and her grandchildren are together. It was loud and crazy but I loved every second of it!

Mallory and Brodie came to the airport and I got to meet Brodie for the first time. I never believed in love at first sight before but I definitely fell in love with this little man instantly! I can't wait to watch him grow up.

So this is going to be the last post on this blog. One day I might blog again but it won't be on here.

Lost his first tooth!

This little man lost his first tooth last week! We accidentally swallowed it when he was eating though...

The Leonardo Museum

The kids had a few days off between summer and regular school so we decided to go out for a day of fun to the Leonardo Museum. This museum is full of fun things for the kids to play and learn with and also has a section dedicated to teaching children about people who are homeless. It hit Ethan hard when he realised that these people dont have a warm home to go to at night and sometimes won't eat all day. All the kids donated some money before they went off to play with the other exhibits. It was a fun day had by all.

South West Road Trip: Part Four

Zion National Park

On the drive home from Vegas we stopped at Zion National Park. We spend all afternoon visiting all the stops on the the shuttle route. My favourite was at the end when Bec and I waded through the water to get to a rock. I wish we had more time to explore more of this beautiful national park.

South West Road Trip: Part Three

Las Vegas

This was my third time visiting Vegas but my first time without kids. We showed Jess and Stephen all the attractions on the strip (it was their first time there), visited Fremont Street and even went zip lining. I double my money at the casinos (it was only $50) and had a great time!
